The Industry Connect Program or ICP aims to:

ENCOURAGE local businesses to come forward and participate in skills development through meaning engagement and participation in vocational training practices.

CONTRIBUTE to improve learning outcomes for students by offering Work Integrated Learning opportunities.

ENGAGE with training providers to inform training and assessment practices by ensuring that learning outcomes are aligned with industry requirements.

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) offers a unique opportunity to put theory into practice, develop personal and professional skills and knowledge, establish professional networks, and find out what it’s like to work in your area of study and interest.

CIC Connect partners with Local Employers to offer International students studying VET courses and job seekers Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities to acquire and demonstrate knowledge and skills employers look for in VET graduates.

Work Integrated Learning Experience can then be recorded on resumes of learners and can result in work that can be added to a professional portfolio.

You should register for Industry Connect Program (ICP) if you want to:

• experience real workplace environment in Australia
• implement skills learned as a part of your study
• get valuable hands-on experience in your area of interest

CIC Connect works with Local Employers to identify skilled workforce needs. The Industry Connect Program will help you to get “Real Experience for Real Jobs”

REGISTER

NO you do not need to pay to register with CIC Connect.

Once you register and specify what skills you are after, CIC Business Advisor will get in touch with you to suggest most appropriate recruitment strategies. Careers In Care has a pool of qualified graduates looking for job.

As CIC Connect Industry partner you can offer Work Integrated Learning opportunities to International students studying VET courses or to local job seekers, train them on skills that you are looking for and offer them employment.
